This site was designed with 100% open source software including GNU/Linux, Gvim, Firefox and the awesome Firebug extension for Firefox. It is built atop the Drupal CMS using a (heavily) modified Sandbox theme converted from Wordpress.
Score 5 : Insightful is best viewed in a sane CSS supporting browser. So that excludes Internet Explorer 5.5, 6 and (possibly) 7. It does work mostly in Internet Explorer, however IE does some extremely inconstistent rendering of the header div, such that it is sometimes white and sometimes grey depending on how often you press the refresh button. IE also fails to handle <pre> tags particularly well, so the layout gets funky if you resize the page to size smaller than the width of a code sample.
If anyone has any solutions to these problems, I'd be interested in finding out about them, although I don't particularly care because in all honesty, people should just get Firefox. Anld yes, I know Firefox isn't perfect, but it's cross-platform, open-source and works fairly well.
